The African National Congress ( ANC) confirmed on Monday that it has expelled former Secretary General Ace Magashule.
The Party said National Disciplinary Committee (NDC) met to deliberate on charges preferred against Magashule. He was found guilty of contravening the rules of the party.
“After a guilty verdict by the NDC, Comrad eMagashule was allowed to show cause why he should not be expelled from the ANC. Upon the lapse of seven days, the NDC had not received any representations to that effect”
ANC Spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri said the NDC confirmed the expulsion of comrade Magashule from the ANC as a final sanction.
