Manhunt for suspects who burnt property worth more than R2 Million

The Police in Bolobedu launched a massive manhunt for unknown suspects who burned an office building and motor vehicles worth more than two million in Kgapane location on Saturday, 20 May 2023 at about 00:10.

Limpopo Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said according to information, a 32-year-old Security Officer was on duty at the premises when he noticed a fire in the yard. He went further to investigate and realised that the office buildings were on fire together with the vehicles parked in the yard.

“The incident was immediately reported to the police and members of the Emergency Fire Brigade managed to extinguish the fire.

Ledwaba said the motive of the incident is currently unknown at this stage and police have opened a case of malicious damage to property.
