Premier Maape congratulates Deputy President Mashatile

North West Premier Busy Maape, on behalf of the government and the people of that Province,  to congratulated Honourable Paul Mashatile on his appointment as Deputy President of the Republic. President Ramaphosa reshuffled his cabinet on Monday night, 06 January 2023.

Premier Maape said Deputy President Mashatile brings into government a wealth of experience having served in various portfolios as Premier of Gauteng Province, Minister and Deputy Minister of Arts & Culture to name a few.

“The North West Government extends a hand of friendship and cooperation to Deputy President Mashatile, and believe that his door will remain open for us to use his skills and wisdom to find solutions to a number of socio-economic challenges confronting our government and people”.

Premier also extend their good wishes to all newly appointed Ministers and Deputy Ministers. “Our special congratulations go to Mr Itiseng Kenneth Morolong who has been appointed Deputy Minister in the Presidency.”

He said they join the people of Ipelegeng township and the province to celebrate this important milestone in Morolong’s political career as a member of Parliament, former ANC Youth League and COSAS leader, member and spokesperson of the ANC Interim Provincial Committee (IPC) amongst the many roles he has played in the politics of the province.

“We welcome this collective who will add their shoulders to give momentum to the national task of findings solutions to the challenges facing our people”.
