“Corruption is entrenched in the ANC from top to bottom. The nominations for ANC leadership at the December Elective Conference says it all”.This is the sentiment of COPE spokesperson Dennis Bloem. He further said ANC branches have nominated tainted, discredited and corrupt leaders. “Many of those who have been nominated are implicated in The Zondo Commission Report. President Ramaphosa, former President Jacob Zuma, ANC National Chairperson Gwede Mantashe and Nomvula Mokonyane to mention just a few, feature prominently in the Zondo Commission report”.
Bloem added that COPE is more than ever convinced that the mission of the ANC after the Polokwane conference was to loot and destroy the country.The destruction under President Ramaphosa is continuing unabated. It seems that ANC deployees have decided to finish off the last bit that is left in the fiscus”.
He said COPE believes the solution is for all opposition parties to unite and form a united front to save the country. “Opposition political party leaders must also put the country first and put their egos aside in the best interest of the country”.
