The African National Congress in eThekwini is mourning the passing on of its Treasurer Cde Nomthandazo Zoe Shabalala
ANC Regional Spokesperson Mlondi Mkhize said Shabalala is one of the key figures who spent her time building organisational structures in the region. “ As the councillor she ensured that we made an impact in eThekwini Council as the governing party. Shabalala’s contribution to the fight for the betterment of the lives of our people would be treasured as the party continues its work towards the transformation of the lives of the poor especial in the region that she served with distinction”.
The ANC sent its heartfelt condolences to the entire Shabalala family, relatives, friends and comrades in the eThekwini Region. “We would like to assure them that we are with them during this sad moment of bereavement. We share their grave sense of loss”.
Mkhize said they will announce details of their visit to the family as well as memorial and funeral details.
