Cash in transit robbery suspects wanted

The police in Gauteng are on the lookout for suspects who were allegedly involved in a cash in transit robbery at the corner of Tema and Nicolas streets in Soweto.

It is reported that the driver of the armored vehicle and his two colleagues were driving from Bara Mall headed towards Orlando East when they were allegedly accosted by an unknown number of suspects who brought their vehicle at standstill. The security guards were robbe

d of their three firearms. The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The driver sustained a head injury after he was reportedly hit with the butt of a firearm by the suspects.
