Mitchells Plain detectives have opened a murder docket for investigation after three men were shot and killed in Westridge, Mitchells Plain on Sunday evening.
Western Cape Police Spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said reports indicate that a gunman arrived at an address in Jersey Street, Westridge at 21:30 and asked for the owner by name. “The armed man proceeded to shoot the owner and two other men inside the home.”
Potelwa said all three died on the scene. “The suspect fled and is yet to be arrested. Investigations into the shooting incident that is believed to be gang-related continue”.
