The three suspects appeared at the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on Monday for a charge of Ms Hillary Gardee’s murder.
The suspects are facing six counts, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit murder, murder, rape, possession of unlicensed firearm and defeating the ends of justice.
A 28-year-old Gardee was reported missing on Friday, April 29. She was reportedly last seen leaving a shopping complex in Nelspruit at approximately 5.30pm. A group of passers-by who were making their way to work found her body in a field about 40km outside Mbombela on Tuesday. She was buried on Saturday, May 7.
The court postponed the matter to 09 June 2022. The 3 suspects abandoned their bail applications. They are all remanded in custody.
