The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has published the latest fuel price adjustments for March 2022, showing a sharp hike in prices for both petrol and diesel in South Africa.
Petrol 95 will increase with R1.46 per litre and Petrol 93 will go up by R1.46 per litre.
Diesel 0.05% will see a sharp increase by R1.44 per litre while Illuminating Paraffin will cost R1.21 more per litre.
Petrol prices have gone up in the country more than three times in the last six months. When delivering the 2022 budget speech last week, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana said there will not be any fuel price increase for 2022/2023.
