The Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team based in Bloemfontein herby appeals to the Free State community to assist in tracing Wonder Samuel Msimango (pictured) who can help unlock the investigation into illicit mining activities, corruption and money laundering in the province.
Eight suspects were arrested on Monday, 15 November 2021 during the termination of a project-driven investigation aimed at dismantling the identified threat of illicit mining in Welkom and Thabong areas.
Captain Christopher Singo said more arrests are expected and it is believed that Msimango can assist with the ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information that may assist the police in locating Msimango may contact the investigating officer, Lt Colonel Babane Skota at 079 509 4998. Any information received will be treated with strict confidentiality.
