A 33 years old suspect is expected to appear before the Nelspruit Magistrate Court on Friday 17 December 2021, after he was arrested by members of the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation Mpumalanga.
Captain Dineo Sekgotodi of Mpulalnaga Hawks said the arrest came after a Crime Intelligence led information about the vehicle that was transporting dagga was followed. “Members stopped and searched a white Toyota Hilux at Karino Emkhatsini filling station.”
Sekgotodi added that during the search, nine bags of compressed dagga weighing 155.58 kg with a street value of R155.000.00 was recovered.
