Police discover mutilated body parts

The Police in Durban are requesting assistance from the community to solve a case of murder after the gruesome discovery of human remains in Cato Manor.

It is alleged that on 27 November 2021 at 12:30, the mutilated remains suspected to be that of a teenager were found in a manhole on Scelobar Avenue in Cato Manor.

Colonel Thembeka Mbele of KwaZulu-Natal police said a case of murder is being investigated by Cato Manor SAPS.

Gwala said they are appealing to anyone with information that can assist police in solving the case or to locate the next of kin, to contact the investigating officer Detective Warrant Officer Soobramonie on 072 885 8036/031 203 300/57 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
