The South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) Provincial Chairperson in the North West, Paul Sebegoe has made a passionate plea for people to unite around a realistic programme for the advance towards achieving the goal “for a better life for all”.

The appeal was made over the weekend ahead of the 8th Annual Oliver Reginald Tambo Memorial Lecture. Tambo was a visionary freedom fighter and Pan African intellectual giant. He died on 24 April 1993 at the age of 75 after suffering complications following a stroke.

Sebegoe who spoke at the event that was graced by among others, African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee Member Thandi Modise ,member of the ANC North West Interim Provincial Committee,Desbo Mohono as well as ANC Women League Acting Provincial Secretary,Bitsa Lenkopane said that the new energy towards renewal and unity should be built on the past of the distinguished leadership of O.R.Tambo including others who served with honesty and integrity. “These qualities are what is needed to build a successful future”.

He pointed out that the best way to honour Tambo’s 104 years would be to live up to the example he had set.

Sebegoe urged eligible registered voters to go and vote for the ANC to ensure that it reclaims its strategic objective which is nothing else but to serve people with dignity and integrity.

“Together let us go out in our numbers and encourage others to vote ANC on 1 November 2021 to strengthen our democracy, sustain the National Democratic Revolution and build better communities”.
