Dagga valued at R200 000 recovered

Four men aged between 27 and 41 are expected to appear before Durban Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 12 July 2021 facing possession and dealing in dagga charges.

On Saturday morning, 10 July 2021, the police officers from the Cato Manor Crime Prevention Unit were performing their duties in Road 12, Chesterville when they received intelligence of drug dealing.

Colonel Thembeka Mbele of KwaZulu-Natal Police said they proceeded to a house in the area where dagga estimated at R200 000 was seized. “Four men were arrested and taken to the Cato Manor police station for processing. They were charged for possession and dealing in dagga.”
