Police launch manhunt for business robbers

Police have launched a manhunt for an unconfirmed number of unknown and armed suspects following a business robbery at a post office in Ben Viljoen Street, Pretoria North on Wednesday morning 31 March 2021.

Brigadier Mathapelo Peters said it is alleged that at least four unknown suspects armed with firearms, wearing facial masks and caps, entered the post office and allegedly gained access to the safe and a number of tills from which they took an undisclosed amount of cash. Peters said no shots were fired and no injuries reported.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information that could lead to the apprehension of the suspects is urged to contact their nearest police station or call the SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111.
