Mother and her daughter murdered

The South African Police Service in Mokwakwaila outside Tzaneen in Limpopo are looking for the suspects involved in the killing of a 30-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter.Their bodies were discovered wrapped in a plastic in the bushes near ga-Femane village, on Thursday, 25 March 2021.

Limpopo Police spokesperson  Moatshe Ngoepe said the two deceased, allegedly went missing on the 25th of  January 2021.

“They left home at in Matipane village at about 18h30 without informing anyone in the family about their destination. On the  2nd of  February 2021, the missing person case was reported to the Police and the search operation was immediately activated and conducted without success until the gruesome discovery of the deceased by a passerby.”

Ngoepe added that the bodies of the deceased were found in a state of decomposition, wrapped in a plastic and their hands were tied with a rope.

Limpopo Acting Police Commissioner Samuel Manala has ordered the implementation of the 72-hour activation plan for the arrest of the suspects involved in this incident.

The Police are appealing to anyone with information that can assist them to arrest the perpetrator(s) involved in this matter, to contact Lieutenant Colonel Richard Boshomane on  079 894 5501 or Detective Warrant Officer Nthai Modjadji on 060 996 0062.

The Police investigations are continuing.
