After crumbling at the start of the DStv Premiership League, Kaizer Chiefs has collected 3 points from the rival Orlando Pirates on Sunday afternoon at the FNB Stadium.

Being the 100th of the Soweto Derby since the start of the league in South Africa, Amakhosi received the most wanted points to try to enter the top 8. The game started with Pirates dominating it from the onset. The host Chiefs played a setback game and waited to enter Pirates on the counter attack.

The game took a huge turn in the 54th minute of the second half when Chiefs got a goal of the game courtesy of Samir Nurković.

Kokota Piano as he is known, got his first goal against Pirates through an overhead kick.

Coming to this game, Chiefs suffered two defeats in the hands of the Buccaneers in the MTN 8 home and away game.

However, with the bad record the Phefeni Boys find themselves in, Gavin Hunt is a happy man after collecting 3 points from the Pirates.

Chiefs has moved from 11th position to 9. Meanwhile Pirates is at position 4.
