Two women and a man died in an accident about 35 kilometres outside Ganyesa, North West Province on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Spokesperson for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Oshebeng Koonyaditse said the rear left puncture led to the driver losing control of the vehicle and it overturned.
“The accident occurred at around 13:30 on R378 road linking Ganyesa and Vryburg. It’s reported there were five passengers who were all from a funeral. The two others were seriously injured and immediately taken to the hospital.” Explained Koonyaditse
MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Sello Lehari sent deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
