The police in Masisi in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for the mob justice suspects after four people were brutally murdered, houses and vehicles torched at Mutele village on Monday night

Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said preliminary investigations indicate that the incident was apparently sparked by the disappearance of a 25-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday last week, at Makuya police station.

Mojapelo said four counts of murder and arson have been opened and arrests are imminent.

Limpopo Police Commissioner General Nneke Ledwaba has condemned this incident and ordered that the 72 hour activation plan be implemented to hunt down the killers.

Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects is requested to contact Warrant Officer Madimabe Mhlavheni on 082 414 2481 or call the toll free number 0860010111 or the nearest police.
