The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) and the South African Cabin Crew Association (SACCA) confirmed on Thursday that the urgent application which they made at the Labour court, regarding unpaid salaries for their members at South African Airways (SAA) has been postponed to Monday, 01 February 2020.
SACCA President Nsibanyoni Mugambi said this is because Judge Van Niekerk did not get all the documents ahead of time because of problems with the Labour court email server.
“Given the nature of the application, all parties agreed to stand down to give the judge a chance to read all the arguments”.
Mugambi added that the case will be heard on Monday 1st February 2021 at 10 am via Zoom.
