Five hundred and sixty-six people have died In South Africa after contracting corona virus, bringing the total number of deaths of 38 854.
Gauteng recorded 80 deaths, Kwa Zulu Natal 218 , Mpumalanga 6 , Limpopo 16, Western Cape 104 and Northern Cape 8 and Free State 46.
Recoveries stand at 1 160 412, which translates to 84.7%. People are urged to observe health protocols put in place: washing hands regularly with soap and water or sanitiser, wearing a mask and maintaining social distance
