Accountant sentenced for Fraud

NORTH WEST| Brits Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday sentenced Calvin Kwinana (45) to five years imprisonment with an option of a fine of R30 000 for fraud.

Captain Tlangelani Rikhotso said the accused who was employed by the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation as an accountant, reportedly misappropriated the company’s funds to the value of R268 000 which he transferred to his personal account.
