Over the last 24 hours, One hundred and seventy five people died in South Africa after contracting coronavirus, Eastern Cape 93, Free State 16, Gauteng 4 , Kwa-Zulu Natal 5 , Northern Cape 20 , Western Cape 32 and North West 5. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 23 451.
Ramaphosa said for the first time in this pandemic, most of the new infections are among young people, particularly those in the age group of 15 to 19 years.
