Four suspects aged between 18 and 34 are expected to appear before the Orkney Magistrates Court on Monday, 16 November 2020. They were arrested on Thursday when police conducted a random stop and search near Lourenspark Road in Orkney.
“ Upon searching a Renault Megane, the members discovered numerous bags containing tablets, suspected to be Mandrax and an extensive amount of money. The drugs are estimated to a street value of R190 000.00.” said Colonel Adéle Myburgh.
Myburg said their efforts towards the fight against drug peddling continue to yield positive results.
