A self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd ‘Papa’ Bushiri has been granted a bail of R200 000 by the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court this morning.
The bail is also granted to Bushiri’s wife Mary for R200 000, Landiwe Ntlokoane will get R100 000 bail. Zethu Mudolo got R20 000 bail.
The Magistrate Thandi Theledi has read their conditions which include only their travel to Gauteng and North West. They are also urged not to intimidate or threaten witnesses.
Bushiri is currently holding a permanent residence in South Africa. He, alongside the other co-accused, are charged with fraud, corruption and money laundering of R102 million. Willah Mudolo who didnt apply for bail after being caught trying to escape the country ln several occasions said he will apply for bail on Friday.
Before the ruling would be given this morning, Pastor Paseka Mboro said he has smoked a peace with ‘Papa’ and no longer fighting with him. Mboro further said he dreamt Bushiri given a bail.
All the accused are expected to appear before the court on Friday.
