SANCO Gauteng distanced itself from the statement released by the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) about the attendance of the court case with Prophet Bushiri.

In the statement, the church claimed that the SANCO Gauteng will attend the court case in support of prophet Bushiri as he seeks bail.

Provincial Chairperson Chris Malematja said although there have been engagements between SANCO Gauteng provincial leadership, there have been no such commitments made by the leadership in the province.

“SANCO’s core mandate is to be the vanguard of the people of society. In that vain, SANCO remains impartial and would therefore allow court processes to take effect. SANCO will allow all processes to take place without interference.” Said Malemetja .

Like the church, SANCO calls for calm and lawfulness as these processes unfold in the courts
