Orlando Pirates revealed the signing of Richard 26-year-old Ghanaian, Richard Ofori from Maritzburg United on a 3 year deal.
The rumours that he will be leaving the United got the fire burning when he didn’t make it to the line up against Kaizer Chiefs in the quarter finals of MTN8 on Sunday at the FNB stadium.
Ofori said he was happy to join the Soweto giant. “I am very happy to be here. It is a dream for me to be a part of this exciting squad and to work with the technical team. I also look forward to meeting my new teammates and being part of this exciting new project.”
He made 64 appearance for Maritzburg United in all competitions which he joined in 2018.
Internationally, he represented Ghana 9 times.
The Buccaneers do not leave United alone, Tebogo Tlolane will move to Maritzburg United for a season-long loan.
