The State Of D11 Road In Sekgosese

The D11 road in Sekgosese in Limpopo from Lemondokop to Mamaila Kolobetona village keeps on deteriorating each day.The community have been complaining about this road for a long time.

The MEC of Public Works, Road and Infrastructure in Limpopo, Dickson Masemola accompanied by Greater Letaba Local Municipality Mayor Peter Matlou and Mopani district representatives visited the D11 road in August and promised that it will be revamped starting in November 2020.This road is not the only one in bad state, D3200 road in Lebaka/Mohlabaneng in Bolobedu is also flagged as bad.

One taxi driver who travels on this  D11 road daily,  said the road is making their job hard because they always have punctures.

Public Works department released a statement saying “Engineers will soon start with their work to prepare processes towards getting a contractor on site, within the limited budget of the department and Roads Agency of Limpopo (RAL)”.

Mopani District Municipality also affirmed the Public Works’ statement on November date. “The constructors of both D11 and D3200 will be on site by the end of November”.
