The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is investigating murder case after a police allegedly killed a 16 year old girl in Seshego in Limpopo, in the early hours of Friday morning.
The deceased was staying with her mother at a rented room.
IPID Spokesperson Ndileka Cola said the police officer allegedly fired approximately numerous rounds of shots through their door and one caught the 16-year-old girl who is no more.
“Upon arrival at the scene, the IPID recovered a firearm which the perpetrator had hidden.” ’said Cola
The suspect is set to appear before the Seshego Magistrate Court on Monday,5 October 2020 for charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice.
