The African National Congress (ANC) has told its staff and managers that their September salaries will be made no later than 9 October 2020.
In a letter dated 29 September, the ANC said “On behalf of Treasury General ,Paul Mashatile, this seeks to inform all ANC staff that salaries for September will unfortunately be paid after month-end. Salary payments will be made not later than 9 October 2020.”
The ruling party is no stranger to the delay of payment of salaries to its staff. In august 2020, ANC employees around the country were notified that the salaries will be paid late .The financial challenge in the Luthuli House were laid bare in December 2019 when salaries were delayed and also in June 2020.
All staff members of the ANC are urged to make necessary arrangements with their banks.
“We most sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused”, ANC said.
