The Orlando Pirates FC has beefed up its squad by finally securing the signatures of former Bidvest players Thulani Hlatshwayo (30) and Deon Hotto (28).
Chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza said they are pleased to welcome Thulani Hlatshwayo and Deon Hotto to the Club. “These are two players who have a proven pedigree both at club and international level and we are confident that they will complement the team that we have assembled.”
Hlatshwayo who is a centre-back ,led the Bidvest Wits to their historic first league title in 2017 and also a captain of the South African national team. He has played over 300 matches.
In adding a sauce to the news of Hlatshwayo to Orlando, the club said as he is also a close friend to Happy Jele who is the captain of the team. “This can only predict well for the Bucs defence for the upcoming season.”
The Namibian international Hotto is described by The Buccaneers as a strong, fast and skilful.The Buccaneers said both players join the club on long term deals.Khoza thanked all those who were involved in the negotiations.
