After announcing that Gavin Hunt is the new coach, Kaizer Chiefs on Monday appointed Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard Hunt’s assistants.

Amakhosi is in this process of change after the squad failed to clinch the league which they led for more than 5 months, only to lose it at the last game of the league.

Now the Motaung’s are beefing up their technical team.

The duo joins the technical team this week. Zwane also known as 10111 is no stranger to the Chiefs first team, he was an as assistant from 2010 to 2012. He also played for Chiefs.

Before this promotion, he was coaching Chiefs Reserve team that plays in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC).

His colleague Sheppard, was Hunt’s assistant coach at Bidvest Wits.

Chairman Kaizer Motaung said the two assistant coaches will sit on the bench with Hunt, but will also work with the various youth side coaches to ensure synergy between the first team squad and Chiefs’ Youth Development Academy structures, particularly the MDC.

“We believe we have put a solid technical team together and we will give them all the necessary support they require. We are looking forward to a bright future with Zwane and Sheppard.” Concluded Motaung.
