President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation today at 7pm on developments in South Africa’s risk-adjusted response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The address follows a meeting of the National Coronavirus Command Council on Monday. Ramaphosa on Tuesday chaired a virtual meeting of the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) on progress towards the finalisation of a national economic recovery plan.
NEDLAC is a dialogue platform that brings together social partners in developing effective policies to promote economic growth and increase participation in economic decision making and social equity in South Africa.
The President’s address will be broadcast and streamed on a range of platforms that are accessible to South Africans and international audiences.
