Trade Union Nehawu confirmed programmes of action including a stay away in the health care sector and a possible strike on the 10th of September.
Their demand for improved PPE for health and general workers will begin on Monday. On the 3rd of September is a day of action with demonstrations across all provinces where a memorandum will be handed over to President Cyril Ramphosa.
Addressing a media conference at Braamfontein on Thursday, Nehawu general secretary Zola Saphetha said Health Minister Zweli Mkhize did not address any of their concerns.
