Two Limpopo Doctors died of Covid-19

The Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba is saddened by the deaths of two doctors from COVID-19 related complications.

This is the first case of fatalities on health workers in Limpopo. “The two doctors aged 57 and 47 respectively are the first cases of health care workers to die of COVID-19 related complications in the province.” Statement read.

The deceased were both General Practitioners working for their own independent practices. They took their last breaths at Netcare and Medi Clinic respectively.

Ramathuba sent condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of the deceased.
