The entertainment industry is mourning the death of a radio veteran Bob Mabena. He died on Monday from cardiac arrest . He was 51 years old.
Bob Mabena was an award-winning radio presenter from South Africa with 30 years of radio experience. He was born in West of Pretoria in 1969 and started his Radio career in 1989 in the then Republic of Bophuthatswana with the now defunct Radio Bop.
Bob joined Power FM’s holding company MSG in May 2017 as its group head of programming.
In July 2020 he released a 12-track music compilation, Jammers House Volume 1, which he said is a legacy project.
